Palouse EDJE - Empowering Diversity, Justice, & Equity - is a group of citizens from many walks of life who meet, discuss, and actively work to improve, uphold, and maintain equity in the community.
Mission: Palouse EDJE is committed to initiating and advancing systemic change that promotes racial, ethnic, and cultural equity for every person in the community in all aspects of life, including institutional spheres such as social, political, educational, and economic organizations.
Values: Palouse EDJE members come from all backgrounds and ages, drawing on life experiences to exchange ideas, learn from differences, and work collaboratively in decision-making processes. We use intersectional perspective, acknowledging that race, ethnicity, class, gender, identity, sexual orientation, and ability are all intertwined.
